I agree with charhat singh. Sikhi has become a big business and I will say mafia at Amritsar. They have absolute power and if somebody says something they issue hukamnama and beat him up.

So far no one has replied to Kala-Afghana’s one single letter. That in itself shows their non-committal to the whole process.

Sat Shri Akal Sardar Gurbax Singh Kala Afghana Jee,
I have always been a vicious reader since childhood which I think I got from my father and my eldest massi jee has immense faith in Gurbani and was the driving force for all the kids in the family for their faith towards Sikhism. I joined Sainik School Kapurthala in 1986 after passing 5th standard to join Indian Armed Forces. I don’t remember exactly but I think in 1989 or 1990 when I was in 8th or 9th standard, one day after finishing NCC parade and we were relaxing. Out instructor was from Indian Army on deputation to NCC corp. Some boys asked him which are the most important actions he took part in. He gave reply and in this reply he mentioned Operation Black Thunder. We said Sir that was done by Punjab Police and he laughed and said you are too young to understand these kinds of things. After that my visits to library became more frequent and lengthy and by the time I passed 10th class my dream of becoming an Army Officer in Indian Armed Forces came to an end.
It triggered many questions in my mind and my quest to find answers to them led me through lot of hard times and troubled waters with family, friends and people I came across in general. I have many questions in my mind and I hope you might be able to reflect upon them. I have never got an opportunity before to come across a honest scholar like you before. I hope a dialogue with you will lead me to better understanding on few things.
No one person can be wise that is Ordained by Guru Nanak Sahib, but my singular and individual opinion is that there is no external threat or challenge to Sikhism that Sikh religion and Sikhs are not capable of overcoming. It’s the challenges within that has eroded the energy of the Sikh Qaum and led them ashtray from their ordained mission to spread the effulgent message of Pratham Khalsa Guru Nanak Sahib. To spread the message of Sahib Shri Guru Nanak Sahib is the only religious program of Worldwide Sikh Qaum. So far these efforts are done by individuals and not in a concerted way. The political and religious program of Sikh leadership for last 100 years is that of defensive mentality, lack of vision, lack of planning and Sikh leadership’s belief ‘That what ever Guru Sahib says is right but political realities are different’ a completely useless and absurd rationale which all Sikhs and Nanak Naam Lewaas must reject and discard it.
Can there be cure if we don’t understand the nature and composition of the disease. For last 250 years Sikh leadership has missed no less than three opportunities to lead the downtrodden masses of South Asia and help them emerge as an important entity in South Asia. First during Sardar Baghel Singh’s occupation of Delhi. Second on the night of second battle of Mudki when entire British Occupation of Indian Sub-Continent could have come to an end and third during ill-conceived Communal Award. When we look at the problems of Sikh Qaum then it doesn’t take long to understand that the problem of east punjab is not a problem of Sikh Qaum. But problem of Sikh Qaum is a side effect of a bigger problem, The Communalisation of Punjab, its division which eventually left Punjabi nationality ineffective to play any significant role in the Indian subcontinent and moved its power centre from Lahore to New Delhi. It seems Indian political landscape was deliberately communalised by M.K.Gandhi to play Hindu card to mislead majority population of India, dominate the political landscape of India and push solid Muslim Phalanx out of it.
Gurbax Singh Jee I never understood why Sikh leadership insisted on division of punjab. After all those sacrifices and divisions Has Sikh leadership achieved what it wanted to achieve? If Sovereignty of Punjab would have been centred at Lahore Sikhs would have been 30%. By shifting of Sovereignty of Punjab to New Delhi now Sikhs are 1.5%. History shows Sikh leaders especially Master Tara Singh Jee wanted to keep Punjab united but with India without realising the higher and powerful political currents sweeping through the subcontinent. They were occasionally against Indian Congress Leaders but never broke ranks with them. Why they never thought of keeping it united and be with Pakistan? I never understood why Sikh leadership was so anti Muslim.
So far the religious and political program of punjab based Sikh Qaum is not of their own choosing but has been completely that of reactionary. If somebody makes a religious, ideological or economic move or attack only then they make noise otherwise they go back and pass into oblivion. Politics of Punjab based Sikh Qaum for last 50 years is the energy of Sikh Qaum has been wasted on useless things by petty land lords, liquor vendors and transporters to become big businesses and effort to make Sikh religion a territorial one. I am very sure you must be well aware of political currents of last 50 years.
If we look at the Sikh Qaum based outside India we see either those who don’t want to do anything with the Sikh religion and then there are those who want Khalistan. So net result is young generation of Sikh Qaum based in lets say Australia either has nothing concerted to do or should either support the demand for Khalistan. The moment someone talk about religion and show commitment about Sikhism, he is suddenly asked to join the cause of Khalistan. Are these the only two alternates left with Australian Sikhs?
This diversion is affecting the much awaited reform among religious institutions of Sikh Qaum and hindering the development of Socio-Religious-Political institutions and activities of Sikhs. I will limit my this email only to two points of ‘Communal Division’ and ‘Khalistan Movement’. I would be very happy if you could take time out and clear things for me. They not only confuse me but many others I have talked.
I will wait for you reply
Arwinder Pal Singh.

Waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ke fateh
What is true, what is false it realy with difficult to understand. Every person have their own views for each and every word of the Guru Granth Sahib. How a new one can analysis these contradiction. their should be a simple and easy translation of over holy book, in which universal truth is explained for the every movement of the life. But …….. the contradictions always play a negative role to depromote views regarding the sikhs. Now people of our community needs a universal concepts and meaning faith words. Their should be a scholor commite who lokk all these translation and make a real abstract so that we can expand our religion.
Thanks

Waheguru ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji kifateh
Let’s look at the basic sewa done by the scholar from Guru Gobind Singh ji time. All 48 people was trained by Guru gobind singh example Baba Deep singh and Bhai Mani Singh who was joint jathedar of Akal Takth. The main sewa-expand and teach the meaning of gurbani and proper reading. That all. But what we can see here is so called scholar intrepreting Guru Sahib
The authority of Guru Gobind Singh cannot be question and so is Guru Granth Sahib. This scholars do not 100% believe the authority that is the reason why they question?
Please take time to read all mahapurash and bhramgiani life story–there will be devotional and unquestionable love from them that even we cannot do.
Gurpreet-who are we to expand our religion? or who else? None-waheguru himself will expand the sikhi- why we are taking guru work and worried bout him when we could not even fulfill our duties? Why worried about the future of sikhi when we ourselves not strong and doing what we supposed to do as a gursikh….
Do not worry to much-everything is taken care of-GOD testing us-
Learn the life of saints and follow them- dont interpret what we could not understand and making our own views-
We are being ignorant and do not accept guru sahib

Hello Ranjit Kaur Ji
Sr Gurbax Singh using Kala Afghana not because he is Afghan or from Afghanistan but because “KalaAfghana” is a village in punjab from where he hails. Not to mention this is Area which can be very safely called Historical Core of Sikh history, Sikhism and Sikh Struggle against Tyranny.

Mr Afghana when i was about 21 I was a fanatic supporter of Bindrewallia and the Khalistan movement, without doubt I accepted the the Akal Takts word as true and i believed all the stories associated with the Gurus i.e Guru Nanak ji moving THE Kabba at mecca with his feet and Guru Gobind Singh ji hunting rabbits etc to do avtaar but really it did’nt make sence to me because a lot of the stories contradicted Guru Nanak ji’s teachings. I never really questioned these stories because i did’nt want to offend any of the Guru’s so I just kept doing paat and prayed to God to enlighten me with some wisdom.
Nothing really bothered me for a few years because i was content in family life and I was happy praying everyday and believing in the Guru Granth Sahib, but due to my misfortune one day browsing on the net about sikhism i stumbled accross the dasam Granth, i knew it excisted befor but in my youth i never read it because I was too busy being radicalised into a fundamentalist but this time arround i decided to study the granth. Brothers and sisters what i read in the dasam granth rocked my world, some of the stuff said in there is shocking regarding sex, idol worship, the contradictions to the guru granth sahib, i was disgusted in horror and amazement that guru ji could write such writtings. Still i did’nt want to question the authenticity because i did’nt want to offend my religion but God and common sence prevailed and i started to search for answers. The next step was to see what the akal takht had to say about the dasam granth and to my amazement they sanctioned it as authentic. The next step i took was to see if there was anyone else like me who questioned the authenticity of the dasam Granth and thank God there were people who had the same questions, this in itself gave me confidence to search for the truth.
On my quest for the truth I wanted to see what bindrwallia thought of the dasam granth and i when i saw a video of him supporting it i realised what a fool i had been in my youth for supporting him, because the simplest of minds would realise after reading the dasam granth it is fraud and an attemtpt to destabalise the sikh panth and the worse thing is most of the sikhs are falling for it and the saddest thing is the Golden temple and the gianis associated with the akal takt are preaching brahman myths and stories which contradict the teachings of the Guru Granth sahib.
I realised bachittar nattar natak was a lie and it was an attempt to inaugurate Guru ji and the sikh panth into brahman myths and basically a lot of the dasam granth tells of guru ji hunting for no reason and basically i realised all the doubts i had about sikhism were all due largely to the dasam granth.I need guidence about my religion and all im finding is lies i need truth and the sadeest thing is im finding truth on peace tv which is an islamic tv station, there you have docters and intelligent beings explaining religion, all we have is in fighting and a bunch of thick ppl doin pachaar. We need teachers and Gur Sikh docters and scientists explaining sikhism, all we have is uneducated ppl with minimum intellect explaing mythical stories.
