Gurbilas Patshahi 6 - An analysis

June 17th, 2007

” Gurbilas Patshahi 6 ” released by SGPC under its seal of approval in 1999 and blessings from the 14 Sikh rattans i.e. Jathedars and SGPC members etc and later banned after Gurbaksh Singh KalaAfghana exposed the brahmanical mythological content of this book which was totally against the Gurmaat. The Sikhs look forward to the SGPC and the Jathedars for direction. Read the analysis of this book and figure out for yourself in which direction were the Jathedars going to take us. The analysis also makes it obvious why some of the brahmanical practices exist at the Golden Temple.

I used to read lot of biographies of various Sants and Bhagats and this process is countinue till my last breath. I also read gurbani biakhya written by various sikh scholars. But everytime they add their own meaning to the gubani instead of giving the true meaning but actually the gurus and sant want to convey the message to the common peoples to uplift the society as a whole or to make life better and better. When I come across your work and I read once then twice then again .Believe me your writing is in the first time in the history of sikh religion who dare to give the ture meaning of gurbani in real sense. May God bless you and keep you in high spirit.
